Excerpts from a Pink Sheet
"Mr. B spoke about his ongoing pain and his preparedness of death and how he did not want to die but was accepting of it. I found out that Mr. B had been a pastor before he retired. While sitting with him, I felt like I was listening to one of his sermons. He spoke of the joy and love he feels that someone would take time out of their schedule to visit with people who were shut in and how much he appreciated the fact that people do. As the visit was ending, his sister pulled me aside and told me how much Mr. B had been "moping" about because he had no one to talk with. How happy I was to hear those words. He has such a warm spirit as well as being such a wise man.... ...I told him that I look forward to our next visit and he said he would enjoy and look forward to our next visit as well. Thank you for this assignment. It was the high point of my week."
