Giving
The need for hospice is growing dramatically. According to a study released in the January 7, 2004 issue
of the Journal of the American Medical Association, home-based
hospice care received high levels of satisfaction from patients and families. And a
National Institutes of Health study reported that more Americans die
at home or in hospice care than in hospitals.
We are deeply grateful to our community of supporters for your help in reaching out to those in need and
allowing us to care for them when they turn to us.
There are many ways to give to Hospice of Charleston. Each is equally
important. We just ask that you get involved - make a difference. Help us
help others and the rewards will be greater than you could ever
imagine.
Some ideas include:

bereavement services for both children and adults.

Making a memorial gift to Hospice of
Charleston in memory of a loved one, or designate Hospice of Charleston for
memorials in lieu of funeral flowers.
